How to Apply
Initial Application (First 12ā24 Hours)
- Clean the freshly tattooed area according to your tattoo artist's instructions and gently pat it dry.
- Cut a piece of film approximately 2ā3 cm larger than the tattoo.
- Remove the backing and carefully apply the film over the tattoo.
- Smooth the film from the centre outward to remove any air bubbles.
- Leave the film in place for 12ā24 hours, depending on the amount of wound fluid.
Second Application (Day 1ā5)
- Remove the first film slowly under warm running water.
- Wash the tattoo gently with mild soap and pat dry.
- Apply a fresh piece of Aloe Tattoo Protector Film.
- The second application can typically remain in place for up to 5 days if it stays sealed and your tattoo artist's aftercare guidance recommends it.
Important Removal Instructions
Do not remove the film while dry. To minimise skin irritation, soften the adhesive with warm water and peel the film away slowly from one corner. Removing it too quickly may irritate sensitive skin.
